I. Program Unit in Charge of Families
The Established program unit at the Pastoral coordinating office provide psychological, social and moral support to the affected families and work in close collaboration with different parishes in the Eparchy to prevent social disorders. II. Revitalise and reconstruct Small Christian Communities Reconstructing Small Christian communities established in the Eparchial parishes through offering training to be strong enough to deal with issues related to families. III. Promote the culture of dialogue and tolerance in the family The Eparchy is working on traditional values like reconciliation by intermediary of elders in the village to promote the influence of the elderly people in the society to foster peace and justice in the family life. |
Lay ApostolateEach Parish in the Eaprchy is led by the parish priest and the laity council members. The laity council members serve for three years. They have different kinds of tasks and responsibilities in the parish. They work closely with the different associations in the parish like youth, women and men associations. At the diocesan level, the laity council monitors and evaluates the different activities of each parish, The laity council at the Pastoral Coordinating office visits the different parishes in the Eparchy and fosters the good achievements. Hence, the laity council at the pastoral level organises meetings for experience sharing between parishes in the Eparchy. |
