A CHANCE IN LIFE Project in Emdibir, intends to reach out to vulnerable children (Boys' and Girls') in four groups; Orphan Vulnerable children, Handicapped Children, High School Girls University and TVT collage Girls, enhance their life through supporting them to be able to continue to go to school and to become self supporting, disciplined and responsible citizens in Cheha Woreda since 2020, due to financial restraints in the era of the pandemic the project has reshuffled to sustain only high school girls in the project.
This project has been a pillar for the holistic academic, social, psychological and behavioral betterment of 100 high school girls residing in the hostel.

The project’s planned provisions of the educational subsidies, accommodation services, continuous follow-ups and school fees have been a great addition to narrow the academic gap, to lower the number of dropouts and exceed in their academic progress of these children; to enable them academically capable and to easily manage their day to day behavioral cases they are all enrolled in the nearby St. Anthony Cathedral School. Most notably, we had eight students who took university entrance examination in the academic year that is the pride of the project’s effort, thanks to Chance in life project.
