Priests of the EparchyIn the Eparchy priests collaborate with their bishop in presbyter council and college of consulates. There are twenty two diocesan priests and one ordained deacon.The Eparchy gives great attention for the ongoing formation of priests. Most of the priests are working in parishes and in diocesan offices. Also most of them did their licentiate and few also have Doctorate degree in different fields of study.

CongregationsIn total there are ten congregations, three Male and seven Female lend in pastoral service of Eparchy of Emdibir. The Capuchin Friars, The Medical Mission Sisters (MMS),The Capuchin Sisters of Mother Rubatto, Sister Arnolda of the Franciscan Sisters of Divine Province from Baldegg, The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lad, Daughters of Mercy and Cross,The Franciscan Sisters of St. Anne of Chennai, The Sisters of the Imitation of Christ (Bethany Sisters) from Kerala, Franciscan Missionaries of Christ and an international Community of Sisters.
SeminariansThe Eparchial pastoral Coordination office is responsible for Vocation promotion and Young people who aspire to be priests are formed at parish level at their young age. When they finish middle School they Join Minor Seminary which is Located in Addis Ababa. Those who want to join Major seminary without passing through Minor Seminary formation finishing high School or university they apply and they join seminary. Currently there are eight students in the inter diocesan major seminary in Addis Ababa and 8 at the Arch Diocese of Addis Ababa major seminary.

What We Do
|
We help the community in the territory of the Eparchy, mostly, remote villages to get access to quality of Education.

We Build small Christian in each Parish grouped in different villages for inculturation, evangelization and the development of lay ministers.

The Pastoral Coordinating office prepares Bible lessons at the beginning of each months and diffuses it to all parishes

The Pastoral Coordinating Office closely works with catechists , helps them to organise themselves for better pastoral work.

We work on the formation of Christian families in order to bring about a meaningful social life and also to foster peace, tolerance and mutual understanding and harmonious coexistence in the society through our Family projects, Laity council monitors and evaluates the different activities of each parish in the Eparchy.

We Promote Catholic Social Teaching for the Church Society ,
works to create a harmonious situation in the society based on the Gospel values. |
We invests a lot on the youth to consolidate their faith and lead them to be good Christian citizens.
